Talisman
I was given Our Lady of Guadalupe for
faith,
I gave her away for cancer.
I was given St. Jude for
hope,
I gave him away for a healthy birth.
I was given a fleur de lis for
love,
I gave it away as a reminder of home.
Tokens of friendship
given
to me, passed on to others.
