I’m celebrating two great things that have happened to me in the (dreaded) month of August that might (might) be changing my mind about it although I’m glad we’re practically at the half-way mark.
First, three of my poems are published in Olentangy Review this month. Olentangy Review is edited by husband and wife team Darryl and Melissa Price and was originally a print publication that began back in 1992. I am very pleased to be a part of this beautiful journal and in the company of other (way more well known) poets and writers featured in its pages. Huge thanks to Darryl and Melissa for giving me this opportunity.
Second, I’m featured today on Glow Worm, Michelle Elvy’s website, which also crosses over as a link to Tuesday Poem. Michelle is an accomplished writer and an editor at Blue Five Notebook and Flash Frontier, among other publications and special projects. She recently published the first post of the resurrected “Editor’s Eye” feature on Fictionaut, which is where I virtually met both her and Darryl Price. Thanks to Michelle for this opportunity, as well, and for her kind support.
Speaking of Fictionaut, I highly recommend it to anyone interested in high quality, original, creative and intelligent writing. There’s something for everyone there and content is added every day, almost every hour! Please do check it out. I’m happy to be a part of this community where I’ve already learned so much.
Once again, thanks Michelle, Darryl and Melissa!
