Beauty or Beast

Vegetables sit in a shaft of sunlight
on the kitchen table waiting
for the prick of a knife or 
an appreciative eye. 
Isn’t that just
like Life?

It’s been a busy day, so far. I participated in a writing workshop facilitated by the wonderful Kathy Fish and generated three beginnings of something or other, lol. It was productive and fun. I have taken several of her workshops before and recommend any of her classes highly.
