I have a poem, “Washed Away 2005”, in the new issue of Foliate Oak Literary Magazine. Much thanks to the Editors for selecting this poem. It’s one of several I’ve been holding on to for a good many years. Now felt right for releasing some of them and I’m very happy this one was selected by a journal I read regularly and admire.

Congratulations, Charlotte! I’ve been enjoying all your poetry. This one really struck a chord. Because I only live a few states away and I remember some who came and stayed here, or passed through, and one who was never going to go back, but did.

Lots of displaced people, some still. Fortunately, I was only away for a month but my job (that I loved) didn’t come back. We all had to hit the reset button.
