  Freely Let Them Fall Our tears are the water of life, cleansing the debris left from suffering and grief, preparing the soil of our sensitivity, nourishing appreciation and forgiveness. __________________________________________________ The inspiration for this poem was the following passage: “The most beautiful people we have known are those who have known defeat, known suffering, known struggle, known loss, and have found their way out of the depths.
